Who can see my personal details and other information that I provide?
Nottinghamshire Police will, on behalf of the partnership, lawfully and securely administrate all personal details submitted to this website. It will not divulge any personal details that you provide to any of its partners or any other body or individual without your express, written permission, unless it is essential to do so for the purpose of detecting or preventing crime, or if this is in the interests of public safety. VISAV, the provider of this website, has access to all information submitted to the site, and as such, acknowledges that it may not use any personal information that you provide for any purpose other than in order to support the website. Nottinghamshire Police is the Data Controller for all personal information that is both submitted to, and displayed on this site. The use of, and security of this information conforms to the annual notification that Nottinghamshire Police submits to the Information Controller in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. You accept responsibility for ensuring that the details provided by you are kept up to date and accurate. You can configure the types of messages you receive, delivery times and the priority level. You are able to amend your options at any time or stop all messages being sent to you by logging into the system and cancelling your membership.
Who is the site for?
The site is available to anyone, but is primarily targeted at the youth community within Nottinghamshire. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned from this system. You agree that the administrator and moderators of this website have the right to remove, or close any topic/message at any time should they see fit. The IP address of all messages is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. Any unlawful breach of use of the website may result in legal action being taken against you. Once you have registered on the KAGE web site and made a pledge, you will be issued a 'pledge card' this card is for the registered holder to use but will remain the ultimate property of KAGE(Knife And Gun Education). As a registered holder/user of the KAGE pledge card all benefits and promotions will only be valid for a maximum of 12months, this will be on a rolling basis. KAGE/VISAV reserve the rights to discontinue any promotion at anytime. If you are reported for being in possesion of a weapon of any kind then the pledge card can be removed along with all privledges that are attached. If the holder is reported, arrested, or suspected of being in possesion of a weapon then the removal of the card will take place. A message will also be sent to ALL registered users informing them that a member has found or suspected of being in possesion of a weapon and all privledges have been terminated. The membership number only will be shown on the message, no personal details will be given out at any time.
