A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been stabbed in the city centre.
The incident is believed to have happened behind a former fuel station in Pemberton Street at around 10.30pm on Sunday.
Notts Police said the victim was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre with a number of serious puncture wounds to his back and face.
He has now left hospital but is still receiving medical treatment while he recuperates at home.
A cordon remained in place yesterday morning while forensic investigations were carried out.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
