Vehicle Crime, including Theft of Motor Vehicles and/or Theft from Motor Vehicles saw a total of 11 offences. A number of these were insecure vehicles left unattended with items on view. Can I please remind you all to keep vehicles as secure as possible and whenever possible remove or hide items from view.
Overall crime for the month of June saw a decrease of 39 offences compared to the same period last year. A decrease of over 60%. This was very good news and we aim to continue in this.
We have now started work on the Community Priority of speeding vehicles and Anti Social Behaviour around the Bar Lane area, this has included increased patrols and two speed gun operations. We will keep you updated on how this is progressing.
Finally, any suspicious behaviour can be reported using the non-emergency contact number – 101, or to make contact with your local Safer Neighbourhood Team you can visit the website and put your postcode in half way down the home page.
