THEFT OF PETROL

To all Kimberley residents

We would like to make you aware that overnight on 26/6/12 PETROL was siphoned from a car on Bassett Close. Of late there have been reported incidents of theft of DIESEL so

PLEASE BE EXTRA VIGILANT- IF YOU SEE ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS

PLEASE REPORT IT TO THE POLICE!

Precautionary measures to prevent YOU from becoming a victim of crime are

• Locking fuel caps
• Fit anti-siphoning device
• If you have a garage please use it
• If not and your vehicle is on your driveway think about installing PIR lights
• Park your vehicle against the wall this will make it more difficult to siphon fuel
• If you park on the street try to leave your vehicle in a well lit area or near a CCTV camera
