Dear resident
Between 2300 hours on 21 June and 0600 hours on 22 June a vehicle has been broken into on Robinswood Road.
If you witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time, please give us a call on 101 quoting incident number 000125-22062012 in order that any relevant information can be passed to the ongoing investigation.
We are aware of a small number of similar incidents in the area recent weeks and will endeavour to have increased patrols in the area. I would encourage you to report any suspicious behaviour using the 101 non-emergency number – or 999 when appropriate and an immediate response is required.
Crime across the area has generally continued to fall during recent months; however this incident serves as a reminder that there are still dishonest people around looking for an opportunity to steal valuable property. Please remain alert and ensure that appropriate security measures are taken for home and vehicles, such as ensuring doors/windows are locked and keys removed and items are not left on display. Valuables can also be marked with Smartwater (contact me to obtain a free pack) and serial numbers registered on the Immobilise database www.immobilise.com.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require security advice, a free Smartwater pack, or be interested in Neighbourhood Watch.
