Over the past month Wollaton has had an increase in burglaries during the day time and also overnight. A burglary has been committed on each of the following roads: Seaford Avenue, Tranby Gardens, Woodbank Drive, Arleston Drive, Woodhall Road, Redwood Avenue.
Entry has generally been gained via the rear of the property either though forching windows or patio doors.
There was one burglary where a wing mirror was removed from the occupants vehicle and put though the cat flat to locate the keys.
Please can I remind you to make sure keys are removed from the lock of your door and are hidden out of sight.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team are working with Responce and CID officers to identify the persons responsible for those crimes and to prevent further incidents.

If you see a person acting suspiciously then phone 999 straight away.
