Dear All
Please accept our apologies for not turning up to the arranged Beat Surgery at the Hope Centre yesterday.
At 2.15pm while making our way to the Hope Centre we were stopped in Beeston Town Centre by PCSO 7187 Paula Hipkiss who stated that a man and a woman had attempted to buy a mobile phone contract using a fraudulent credit card and needed arresting.
Paula and myself pursued and detained the female who was found to have several items of ID in her handbag in different names. The woman was arrested on suspicion of fraud and theft of credit cards. Unfortunately the man got away.
We were later informed that the woman had initially given false details and was in fact wanted by Immigration services.
We will always try and keep you updated in terms of sticking to the dates and times of the engagements we make, however this incident was unavoidable and needed to be dealt with.
Our next Beat Surgery at the Hope Centre is scheduled for Thursday 24th May between 2.00 – 4.00pm.
Kind Regards
PCSO 8199 Deb Richards & PCSO 4702 Craig Cooper. |
