On 17th April 2012 the Northern Cluster Priority Setting Meeting took place at Eastwood Police Station. Members of the community, councillors and police came together to discuss what YOU would like your local police to focus on over the next three months. These meetings take place every three months where three neighbourhood priorities are agreed. The Northern Cluster Neighbourhood Policing Team cover Brinsley, Eastwood North, Awsworth, Cossall, Newthorpe & Giltbrook

The following three neighbourhood priorities were agreed at the meeting and will stay in place until the next meeting on 17th July 2012:

Church Lane, Cordy Lane and Broad Lane
Speeding Motorists Moorgreen Newthorpe
Vehicles exceeding the speed limit at the following locations in Newthorpe:
B6010 Moorgreen and B600 Moorgreen
Vehicle Nuisance in Awsworth
Youths are riding unregistered motorcycles and mini motos on roads, footpaths and on common land around Awsworth causing noise and danger to local residents and other road users and intimidating them.
