Crime and Christmas

During the Month of December sorry to say that we in Stapleford North and Trowell have had a Theft of motor vehicle from Balloon woods industrial estate an other Theft of motorcycle from Moorbridge Lane a Burglary dwelling from Smithfield Avenue at Trowell and a Criminal damage do to a wall on Moorbridge Lane.

Please make sure that you keep both your vehicles and houses locked up and leave nothing on show that can be seen through windows.

As a final thought as you do your Christmas shopping please be aware of those around you ,as there are those who would like nothing better than your full wallet or purse. Please make sure you keep your valuables close to you and any presents hidden out of view both in your vehicles and at home by closing curtains to stop others looking in.

Please can you make sure if you think you may have seen a crime or something suspicious then please call 999.
