At this time of year Deer poaching and Hare coursing becomes an issue across the County.
With this in mind we would ask everyone in the rural community to be extra vigilant for any signs of dead animals/remains/blood in fields, unusual tyre marks in fields or suspicious vehicles or activity.
Please report any of the above to Leicestershire Constabulary without delay.
If you witness anything suspicious taking place then make a note of what is happening and where along with any descriptions and vehicle registrations if possible.
Please under NO circumstance approach or challenge anyone you believe is engaged in these activities, get what details you can SAFELY without being seen or getting close, and then call Leicestershire Constabulary immediately on 0116 222 2222 to report what is happening.
