BURGLARY ALERT

Alert message sent 14/12/2016 14:58:00

Information sent on behalf of Notts Police

Burglaries in the areas of East Leake and Sutton Bonington

As you'll no doubt be aware due to talking to your neighbours and the information on social media there have been breaks in the villages of East Leake and Sutton Bonington in the daytime/early afternoon on the 13th December 2016

A roads policing operation using your local neighbourhood teams and officers from the region will now commence over the next few days.

Whilst this is taking place our colleagues in CID are working tirelessly to try and identify and arrest the suspects involved with theses offences.

Whilst policing patrols in the Rushclife area have been increased in an attempt to apprehend those responsible, prevent further offences and also to reassure the public, we are appealing for help from you...

Have you seen something untoward?

Have you seen a person or vehicle that you do not recognise visiting a neighbours property?

Have you information as to who is responsible?

If so call us on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

We ask that you remain vigilant, look out for each others property and report anything you think is suspicious as early as possible.

Remember, always call 999 in an emergency - Thank you.
