Crime Report for Ashfield South week to 23 November 2016

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch in Nottinghamshire

Crimes reported over the past seven days.
Burglary Dwelling.

Between 5.30pm on Thursday 17 and 4.30pm Saturday 19 November in Main Street, Annesley Woodhouse a house was broken into by forcing open a rear window and a silver Apple Macbook Air was stolen.
Between the 16 and 19 November in Kendall Close, Hucknall a house was broken into by forcing a rear window. At this stage it is not known if anything was stolen.
Between 5.30pm and 6pm on Thursday 17 November in Astral Grove, Hucknall a house was broken into by smashing a window. Car keys were taken and a Black Ford Cougar was stolen.
Burglary Other
Between 6.30pm on Saturday 19 and 10.30am Sunday 20 November in Papplewick Lane, Hucknall a garage was entered and a 500gb playstation 3, slim X Box, Android TV box, games and a rucksack were stolen.
Overnight of the 16 and 17 November in Red Kite Close, Hucknall a shed was broken into by damaging the wood surrounding the lock and removing the lock. Nothing was taken.
Over the past 10 days in Forest Road, Annesley Woodhouse a shed was broken into, not known if anything was stolen.
Theft from a motor vehicle.
Overnight of the 17 and 18 November on the Sandicliffe Ford forecourt, Portland Road, Hucknall the front window of a Grey Ford Focus was smashed and also the front bumper was stolen.
Between 6pm on Sunday 20 and 4pm Monday 21 November in Garden Road, Hucknall the number plates of a vehicle were stolen.
At about 5pm on Friday 18 November at the Hucknall Leisure Centre a Decathlon Rockrider 520 Mountain Bike which had been left secured with a lock with other bikes was stolen together with the lock.
In recent months several pedal cycles have been stolen from Hucknall Leisure Centre so please be aware of this and ensure you make sure that if bikes are left at leisure centres or other public places they are left with a substantial lock and if possible secured to a static fixture
