Bestwood Ward Crime reduction

Crime on the Bestwood ward, which consists of Bestwood, Bestwood Park and Top Valley areas continues to fall significantly with the following reductions

Dwelling Burglary down by 48%

Robbery down by 60%

Vehicle Crime down by 63%

Other Burglary (sheds) down by 18%

Criminal damage reduced by 32%

Theft offences down by 68%

All Crime is down by a massive 38% compared to the same period last year. In real terms this means we seen 129 fewer victims of crime since the 1^st of April on the Bestwood Ward.

This is a really good start to the year and achieved with working with you and our partners and target those who commit crime in our communities. We will of course continue to work hard to ensure these great crime reductions continue.
