Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch in Nottinghamshire

Crimes reported over the past seven days.
 
Burglary Dwelling.

Over the past two weeks in Spruce Avenue, Selston a window was smashed to gain entry to an attached garage. Quantities of tools were stolen including one cordless and one SDS drill. Also stolen was some sound equipment consisting of speakers, leads and microphones. 
 
Between 8am and 9.45pm on Saturday 5 November in Church Lane, Hucknall a house was entered by smashing a glass conservatory door. A small quantity of cash and a MAC Book serial number W8039H2FATM were stolen.
 
Sometime before 3.45pm Thursday 3 November in Queen Street, Hucknall a house was entered by smashing a kitchen window. An untidy search was made and 3 watches were stolen.
 
At about 1.30pm on Monday 7 November in Linby Road, Hucknall a distraction burglary took place when a purse containing cash and bank cards and a sweet jar containing cash were stolen.
 
Burglary Other
Between 6pm and 7pm on Friday 4 November in Winifred Street, Hucknall the door to a shed was unscrewed and an angle grinder, drill, jigsaw and some pliers were stolen.
 
Between 2pm on Saturday 5 and 8.50am Monday 7 November in Montague Road, Hucknall a garage was broken into by forcing the door open. A red Boardman road bike and an orange Flymo Lawnmower were stolen.

Theft of a Vehicle.
Between 8pm and 9.10pm on Sunday 6 November in Montague Road, Hucknall a fence panel was lifted out and a Honda CBR600 motorbike stolen. The bike was later recovered damaged.
 
Theft
Around 4.30pm on Wednesday 2 November at the Oakenhall Medical Practice, Bolsover Street, Hucknall a black Felt F5 road bike which had been secured to a drainpipe was stolen.
 
Just recently push bikes, motor bikes and scooters have been stolen. The Tram Stop has been targeted by thieves but also from public places like leisure centres, public parks and from outside people’s homes so please make it difficult for the thief and keep your bike securely chained up.
