Crime Report - Ashfield South the week to Thursday 26 May, 2016
 
Good News.
We are happy to report that crime continues to be low in Ashfield South and since the beginning of April this year overall crime is down by 17%. This will be in part due to the public quickly reporting crime and suspicious incidents and persons to the police.
 
Drugs warrants continue to be executed in our area and again please pass on to the police any information regarding drug dealing you see or hear about.
 
Burglary Dwelling
At 10.20pm on Friday 20 May in Inkerman Street, Selston a house was entered via an insecure patio door. A jewellery box and jewellery were stolen.
 
Between 9.15am and 2.25pm on Saturday 21 May in Forrest Road, Annesley Woodhouse both front and back doors were forced open. At this stage not known if anything was stolen.
 
Between 12 and 19 May in Brookfield Avenue, Hucknall a house was entered via a ground floor door but at this stage not known if anything was stolen.
 
Burglary Other
Overnight of the 21/22 May in York Avenue, Jacksdale a garage up and over door was forced open and a lawn mower, snap on cordless screwdriver set, Dyson vacuum, push bike, Wicks drill, Bosch jet washer and freezer contents were stolen.
 
Between 3pm on Sunday 22 and 6am Monday 23 in Main Road, Underwood a shed door was forced open and 2 strimmers were stolen. A further outbuilding was entered and some craft items and tools and a hedge trimmer were also stolen.
 
Theft of a Vehicle.
No vehicles were stolen during this period.

Theft from a Vehicle
between 9pm on Friday 20 and midday Saturday 21 May in Allen’s Green Avenue, Selston the front number plate was stolen from a black Ford Astra.

 
Between 5pm on Saturday 21 and 11.20am Sunday 22 May in Copland Road, Hucknall a side window of an Iveco van was smashed and a radio and a Parrot hands free kit were stolen.
 
Between 11.30pm on Friday 20 and 11.10am Saturday 21 May in Forge Mill Grove, Hucknall a Dell Lap top computer, a wallet and some cash was stolen from a black Audi.
 
Overnight of the 18/19 May in Palmerston Street, Underwood a Tailgate pin was stolen from a black BMW X1
