WEEKLY UPDATE
Update for 19/03/2012 – 26/03/2012
Since the 19th March there have been 2 crimes of note in the Toton area.
Birkin Avenue – a shed has been broken into and the offenders have stolen fishing tackle. (Please visit the Nottinghamshire Police website for advice on securing your shed)
Stapleford Lane – it appears that a ball bearing has damaged a double glazed window to a house
There have been no crimes of note in the Attenborough area and no Dwelling Burglaries or Theft from Motor Vehicles in either area.
The Local Beat Team are continuing with delivering leaflets to every house in the area and very soon this will be completed. If you have received this leaflet then please take the time to read it and if you know anyone who hasn’t joined Neighbourhood Alert then please encourage them to do so.
Police Surgery – on my last Police Surgery I was informed by Toton Library that after Easter they will no longer be opening late on a Wednesday evening. Therefore there will no longer be a Police Surgery at Toton Library on a Wednesday evening. An alternative day and time for a surgery is being explored and will be advertised via Neighbourhood Alert once this has been established.
Schools Parking – Bispham Drive School was subject to an afternoon patrol to check on the parking by parents. Overall the parking was very good however a number of parents are still parking opposite other vehicles and are also parking too close to a junction. Please park sensibly as the safety of all children who attend Bispham Drive School is paramount.
Please contact either myself or Sean should you wish to discuss any issue within the area.
Thankyou
