Something to be aware of

Dear Residents,

At approx 10:30 hours on 21/03/2012 a property was visited on Hillfield Road Stapleford by an unknown male stating he was working for the council doing asbestos surveys. The unknown male has entered the property and taken "samples" and then exited.

Nothing was taken from the property on this occasion, however I would like to take this opportunity to remind all residents to be vigilant in asking for identification and if you have any doubt about the person knocking on your door, then decline their services and contact the Police on 101 or 999.

May I remind all residents that if you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area that you live to please also call the Police on either 101 or 999.
